Privacy Policy

What we scan

OpenNOD only fetches publicly accessible web data — pages, sitemaps, robots.txt, structured data, and similar resources that any anonymous HTTP client could retrieve. We do not attempt to access logged-in or otherwise restricted content.

What we don't collect

We do not collect, store, or process personally identifiable information (PII) from scanned websites. If a public page happens to contain personal data, we do not extract, index, or persist that data as part of the score.

Account and payment data

If you create an account or subscribe, we store the minimum information required (email, billing identifiers from Stripe). Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Cookies and analytics

We use only essential cookies required for the site to function and basic, privacy-respecting analytics that do not track individuals across sites.

GDPR / CCPA

We do not process personal data in a manner that meets the thresholds of GDPR or CCPA controller obligations for scanned sites. If you have questions about data we hold about you as an account holder, or wish to exercise access/deletion rights, email us.

Data retention

Scan results may be cached and displayed publicly on the leaderboard. You may request removal of any specific scan by emailing us.
